Our Dietary Department’s primary focus is to assure our patients receive the best nutritional care possible. This includes patients on regular diets, and those on special or modified diets.
While you are in our hospital, your meals will be arranged to best meet our goals of providing safe and appropriate food services and your return to good health. Our health care team is here to serve you and carry out your physician’s plan for your recovery. Once the physician prescribes a diet to meet your medical needs, a menu will be carefully planned and prepared to meet those needs. Trained staff may visit with you to discuss any other special dietary restrictions. Please check with your nurse before eating foods brought in by family or friends.
Meals for patients are served at the following times:
Breakfast: 8:00 a.m.
Lunch: 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
Dinner: 6:00 p.m.
